Trudie V. Cox has announced her candidacy for the Eutaw City Council, District 4.
She was born and raised in Eutaw, AL, moved to El Paso, TX in 1967 and shortly returned to EutawShe next moved to South Fallsburg, NY and did not return to Eutaw until 1974, when she moved into Branch Heights. She lived there until 1978, when she purchased her own home.
During that time she spent 14 1/2 years working at the Greene County Hospital. She was a foster parent for the Greene County Department of Human Resources for 10 years.
In 1984, she became a Certified Adult Foster Home for the State of Alabama Mental Health Department and has been self employed through the State Mental Health Department for 28 years.
She served on the Eutaw City Council for four years in District 1.
“I believe in progress,” said Cox. “I can work with anybody that wants to move forward. I am honest, dedicated and a hard worker.
“Hope to see you at the polls,” she said.
