A Democrat article in the May 2, 2012 issue carried a headline stating Frontier Bingo declares bankruptcy.  The Democrat erred and will set the record straight.  The Democrat correctly reported that Belle Mere, LLC did file bankruptcy in U.S. Federal Court, Northern District of Alabama on April 17, 2012.  The address entered in the suit for Belle Mere Properties is 30750 Hwy 11, Knoxville, AL  35469.

Bankruptcy was not filed in the name of Frontier.  Frontier is the trade name of the bingo parlor operated by the non-profit Dream, Inc. which in turn leases the property and building from Belle Mere Properties, LLC where Frontier Bingo operates.  Belle Mere Properties purchased the property and building from C.B.S. Properties.

According to Attorney Mark Scogin, representing Dream, Inc. there is a dispute between Belle Mere Properties, LLC (Plaintiff) and C.B.S. Properties, LLC (Defendant).  Scogin stated that the dispute is regarding mortgage payments.
