On  April 10, 2012,  the March bingo  distributions  from Greenetrack,  Green Charity and Lucky Star were  presented to the varoius entities who are included in Sheriff Jonathan  Benison’s  Bingo  Rules and Regulations.

Benison handed out the following checks from three of the licensed bingo businesses currently  operating in the county.

The Greene  County  Commission  received $20,877.42 from Green Charity, $30,951.61  from Greenetrack and $3,040 from Lucky Star.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department received $7,829,02 from Green Charity, $11,403.23 from Greenetrack and $1,149 from Lucky Star.

The City of  Eutaw received $3,914.52 from Green  Charity,  $6,916.14 from Greenetrack and $570 from Lucky Star

The Cities of Forkland, Union and Boligee received  $2,609.68 each from Green Charity, $3,258.06 each from Greenetrack and $380 each from Lucky Star.

The Greene  County  Board of Education received $11,743.55 from Green Charity and $1,710  from Lucky Star. The School  Board received no part of the  bingo distribution from Greenetrack.

There are other establishments  that have licenses to operate eletronic bingo, but Benison said they had not made a distribution as of yet.
