“I am announcing my candidacy for the position of Circuit Clerk of Greene County. I ask the public for their prayers and support while the campaign is going on and also afterwards.

“I have lived in Greene County all my life and am married to Willie Atkins. We have two beautiful girls, Teresa and Kimberly, and a handsome son, Willie, Jr.

“I am a graduate of the University of Alabama and have worked in county government since my graduation. Working in any job requires a willingness to adapt to new situations and carry out those duties.

“I am qualified and well able to adapt to new positions and individuals with whom I may come in contact. I am currently working with the Greene County Commission and along with my duties as County Administrator, I have been working with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and the Nutrition Program.

“I am a member of the Destiny Worship Center in Cottondale and a volunteer with Deep South Network for Cancer Control.”
