Checks totalling $57,543.80 were distributed by Sheriff Joe Benison to the Greene County Commission, various cities in the county and the Greene County Sheriff’s Department.

$30,483.88 came from Greenetrack for the month of October; Green Charity pre-paid $17,655.00 for November.

The distribution was as follows:

Greene County Commission – $16,088.71 from Greenetrack and $9,255.50 from Green Charity.

City of Eutaw – $3,387.10 from Greenetrack and $2,033.00 from Green Charity.

Town of Forkland – $1,693.55 from Greenetrack and $963.00 from Green Charity.

Town of Union – $1,693.55 from Greenetrack and $963.00 from Green Charity.

Town of Boligee – $1,693.55 from Greenetrack and $963.00 from Green Charity.

Greene County Sheriff’s Department – $5,927.42 from Greenetrack and $3,477.50 from Green Charity.

The Sheriff is receiving money from the bingo disbursement due to his rule changes and is using the money to cover attorney fees.
