On  Monday, October 31, Sheriff Joe Benison distributed checks from Green Charity and Greenetrack. The money was from the bingo distribution  following the bingo rules and regulations written by Sheriff Joe Benison.

The checks from Green Charity were for September and October; Greenetrack’s checks were for September only. Benison said there would be an October distribution from Greenetrack soon.

Receiving the monies were the Greene County Commission – $6,222; the City of Eutaw -  $2,620; the City of Forkland – $1,310; the City of Boligee – $1,310 and the City of Union – $1,310. This was a total distribution of $12,772.

Benison said that the cities and county need the money for infrastructure and for youth programs that bingo distributions could provide.
