Greene County High students celebrated Homecoming with the crowning of king and queen at their annual coronation.  The Homecoming parade  included three bands: Greene County High, Aliceville and Livingston; numerous brightly decorated floats, majorettes, football players and horseriders. This  year the JROTC had members of the  Selma Army Career Center, Sgt. Paul Strobaugh from Selma AL, who served as troop leader in the parade. Principal Gary Rice served as 2011 Homecoming Grand Marshall. A large number turned out to enjoy the parade and the games. The Tigers, with a 4-2 season (losing only to Linden and Bibb County)  defeated  Jemison (Chilton County). Greene County Tigers (5-2) travel to Jackson on Thursday night (10/27/11). Good Luck Tigers!
