Fifteen statewide organizations are spearheading a call to action of Alabama organizations, groups and individuals concerned about the deteriorating situation in Alabama.  “These are critical times,” says Dr. Roberta Watts, Chairperson of the collaborative organizations. “We must find a way to ‘Fight back and Move Forward.”

The Leadership Summit is scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Alabama State University, Ralph Abernathy Hall, 915 South Jackson St., Montgomery, AL from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 The Summit is designed to help leaders understand what is really happening in Alabama and to forge strong responses to meet these challenges.  The collaborative organizations want to include a broad participation with other organizations, groups and leaders.  Those interested can contact Ms. Shelley Fearson at 334-262-0932 or email her at: statecoordinator@aol.com.
