The Greene County Tigers football team and their supporters are getting ready for the Homecoming parade and game on Friday, October 21.

The Tigers, with a 4-2 season (losing only to Linden and Bibb County) say they plan on beating Jemison (Chilton County).

Homecoming celebrations begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 20 with the coronation of the various queens and their courts.

The Homecoming Parade will begin at 4 p.m., on Friday, October 21 with brightly decorated floats, majorettes, football players and other things that make a parade a joy to watch. It will begin at the end of Boligee Street and continue through the downtown area.

Every year, the town turns out to wish the players well and to celebrate their accomplishments.

The game begins at 7 p.m. and Greene County players say they are ready!
