The Greene County Board of Education set August 23, 2011, 4:30 p.m in the central office for a hearing to decide whether or not to discharge Isaac Atkins as superintendent on the basis of violation of contract. On July 18, the board suspended Atkins and notified her of the reasons for its intent to discharge her. The board will decide on an open or closed hearing.
